BACK WITH A BANG
Well, sort of. Except not really because I won't be cosplaying again unttiiilllll IDK.

Cosplayed as Badou Nails from DOGS: Bullets & Carnage with Reiyuv as my partner in crime, Heine! STGCC was held at MBS for the first time and wwwooooww star-filled guest list this year! Haven't cosplayed in /forever/ but I'm glad we finally got to cosplay DOGS together! Been wanting to do this for a while ;u;b

Didn't get to see many people people as I had hoped (cause I was half blind maybe D: ) but happy nevertheless to meet those that I did! Not many people seemed to know our characters either so we spent more time shooting on our own ehehehe. Spent the day being quite a crack Badou instead of the serious one ahaha.

I do feel a lot more lost in events now, to be honest! So many faces I don't recognize anymore jrangvjjsvnbWj

Nothing much to say, just wanted to take advantage of premium membership while it's still there and share a photo we took + inform y'all that there'll be photos up soon

Icarus Designs will be selling some stuff at booth #4 during Cosfest!
They include badges, stickers & postcards from the following fandoms:

The Legend of Korra
Cabin Pressure
Sherlock
Avengers
Adventure Time
DC

I will also be selling some old copies of NEWTYPE & various magazines (oh man is it even relevant but I promise it'll be dirt cheap + superb condition, so take a look if you want?) and a few art books I can bear to part with. The few I'm considering to sell are Rozen Maiden, Zombie Loan and KA-E-N Ito Noizi Collection. Do let me know if you're interested in an artbook I own (but wasn't mentioned) though, cause I'm definitely not lugging all of them there + I do think they deserve owners who treasure them a bit more.

We're also offering up our booth as an unofficial Singaporean Sherlock fandom meet-up spot. We'll be the weirdoes playing word games & hiding lemons in plain sight. :XD:

Might update this post with more specifics (and samples of our merch) later on!

Unfortunately, I'll not be cosplaying again due to an insane school schedule + choice of priorities. I can't wait to see everyone again though!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR Y'ALL.
I ended up not cosplaying for AFA because life got in the way sob. In any case, hope you all had a great christmas!

I didn't cosplay for a good half a year so I felt super rusty at posing/putting on make up sigh. Anyway, I expect I'll be cosplaying even less this year because of school and a waning interest in animanga :iconimseriousplz:

I hope 2012 will be kinder to us all with happier days to look forward to and remember :iconilikeitplz:

Hello! Sorry for not updating my journal for close to 5 months, if anyone is still actively watching me aha :'D
I vaguely remember wanting to update about cosfest but it's been too long so just one photo from each day to sum up my cosfest '11 :


Day 1 - 1/2 Prince with Shin!
I still cannot believe so many people recognized us TuT

Day 2 - Robin!KF with Serah, Hazel and :iconreiyuv: durrhurr.


I also cosplayed with :iconhii-chan: during streetfest! A casual version of Lovely Complex :D


Okay that's all the events I've been to since I last updated sob.

I realised that despite the lack of activity, there are still people adding me to their dA so thank you! :heart: This is probably the first update you've seen from me? :iconretardthinkingplz: Hope I don't disappoint with the constant lack of updates, it's a mix of a busy life, bad time management along with laziness and a pinch of procrastination. Well, if anyone wants an explanation of sorts, I've been in a sort of cosplay slump for a while. I got a bit tired of juggling school work, outside-of-school-but-still-somewhat-school-related work, cosplay and what's left of my life during the cosfest period so I stopped making costumes for a good 5months. I don't think it's anything new among cosplayers though? :XD: It doesn't help that I've also fallen deep into western fandoms and had a new found fascination with military history.

But I think I've gotten out of that slump and have begun preparations for AFA so yaayy :la: Feels like forever since the last event I went to lmao.

Randomly, I always wanted to do a halloween themed shoot, but I guess this year will be another pass :iconimseriousplz:
Anyone doing anything special for Halloween? I don't think I've actually celebrated it before.

I haven't been uploading anything lately but that's because I don't really upload group photos HURHUR.

Remember our Alice in Wonderland Steampunk shoot? Well, :iconxiaobai: has finished uploaded one of the mini series of photos we took and I want to share it here because dA galleries don't really show the sequence well :x (click on the photos to be linked to the deviation ya :D)

Cornered and helpless without their master, the March Hare and the Dormouse stood no chance against the Tweedle twins who had lethal weapons in their possession...is this really the end?


Laughing gleefully, the twins advanced towards the fallen Hare and Mouse, ready to make the final blow. But alas...! In their excitement they did not watch their feet, and made a fatal mistake! Was the Mad Hatter watching over them afterall?


Staring at the still body of the Tweedle twins, the March Hare and the Dormouse couldn't believe their luck...or whatever it is.

"........Uh.....Sooo, I guess, we win?"

"Time for tea~"

Also, another exciting shoot which we should be uploading more photos of is our DRRR!! shoot! It was really fun and I think, a good experience for everyone who was there :XD: We figured light painting was very suitable for a more serious 3 Kings of DRRR!! shoot and I think we managed to pull it off :iconimhappyplz:

More about my life now~ I'm officially not a freshman anymore! (GDI I can't say I got lost in campus anymore) It's pretty good so far though I fear my lack of proper time management will cause major problems djnfgaejhdn I'LL BE WORKING HARD THIS YEAR.

Oh man this journal is getting kind of lengthy signjfd anyway on the topic of curecards, are there any particular characters you think I should make curecards out of? I'm thinking of redesigning them now because I forgot to save a psd file and I found some mistakes in my original ones...... :iconotlplz:
